Jessica Starnes, DMD
Dr. Starnes was born and raised in New City, New York. She received her undergraduate degree at The University of South Carolina and her Doctor of Dental Medicine at The Medical University of South Carolina. She fell in love with South Carolina and knew it would be her forever home.
In 2015, she received a Health Professions Scholarship through the Air Force and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant, later becoming a Captain in 2019. Dr. Starnes was recognized by the Air Force Surgeon General as a top performer in their Infection Control Program during their Joint Commission Accreditations.
Dr. Starnes is a compassionate, understanding, and warm-hearted dentist who truly listens to her patients. Dedicated to dentistry, she strives to ease her patients’ dental anxiety by creating a pleasant and painless environment while helping them become more confident in their smiles. Dr. Starnes provides her patients with an optimistic and proactive solution while continuing to help them feel comfortable and confident and gain additional insight into good oral health.
In her spare time, Dr. Starnes enjoys working out at Cross Fit, and kickboxing. She also loves being by the ocean. She enjoys taking trips to Charleston, where she met her husband Mike and adores being a dog mom to Zeus and Odin.
